The South Eastern European Regional Contest of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest

The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, probably the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world, fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure. This sponsorship is an important part of the S&T Software actions designed to support the academic environment, with the aim to stimulate programming skills development.

The 2006 Edition of the ACM SEE Regional Contest, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest joined 43 teams from 31 universities and 7 countries. The first three winning teams received prizes from S&T Software and from the other sponsors.
