JAVA DEVELOPER
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Evaluate system architecture, business applications and information flows
- Gather and analyse requirements
- Provide technical advice and define business scenarios and rules
- Prototyping and development, integration and testing of technological components
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts
- Production of technical documentation
- Assistance with the deployment and configuration of production systems
- Assistance with training of administrators and technical users
- Providing technical support to business personnel in analysis and investigations of business cases
- Prepare proof of concepts and deliver technical presentations to customers
REQUIREMENTS
- Interest to learn more about new technologies, enterprise security and to evolve as a fraud management solutions consultant / integration engineer
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT and 2 years in J2SE software development
- Good education in Algorithms, Programming, Database Systems and Computer Networks
- Good understanding of web technologies (web services, javascript, SOA, SSO)
- Good knowledge of SQL and RDBMS software
- Good understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, ICMP, NTP, DHCP, SMTP, POP3, SSH)
- Ability to explain how things really work
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux/Unix
- Scripting languages and tools
- Knowledge of Open Source libraries, tools and frameworks, e.g. for logging, wiring, testing, building
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interact directly with the customer
- Willing to travel and work at customer’s premises
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English
